At the time, Modern Postcard had 3 different methods for the customer to order. I conceptualized and designed
an online system that encompassed all 3 methods with enough flexibility for multiple product and service expansions.
Concentrating on a diverse customer base, the system is informative, intuitive, detailed, and very easy to follow. It offers features for
digital customers as well as customers needing their layout built by Modern Postcard graphic artists. Included in the system
is the ability to purchase a mailing list or submit your own, which will be processed and the cards sent directly to the
Post Office and mailed. In addition, users can upload their assests to a folder which they can view at real time. Their assests
can also be reused at later date for reprint orders.
The system not only meets the customers objectives and expectations, but the demands of the company. This balance
of satisfaction ultimately drives value for the customers and profitability for Modern Postcard.
Today, the ordering system has gone through some revisions, improvements and face lifts but the core of the system is still
intact and has been successful since the first launch in 2002.
